About Us
About Us
At Midcare Housing Support, we want to empower children and young people to reach their full potential by providing therapeutic care and comprehensive support. We operate safe, specialist, and nurturing children’s homes for children who can’t remain in their birth families for whatever reasons. We support children who have experienced traumatic childhoods, behavioural and emotional difficulties, additional needs, solo placements, sibling groups as well as supported accommodation to facilitate their journey towards independence.
What motivated us?
Midcare Housing Support started with a collective of professionals working within and outside the care sector. The shared vision to provide quality children’s care services stemmed from the inadequate positive outcomes and service quality available to some of the most vulnerable individuals within the “Child Looked After” system.
Midcare Housing Support provide residential care for children and young people based in the East midlands. We endeavour to create services tailored to young people from diverse backgrounds because we understand every child is different. Our homes serve as a ‘home away from home,’ where nurturing, social, emotional, and moral needs are met by dedicated, experienced, and trained staff. We want to empower young people, to enable them to make positive changes and achieve the best possible outcomes.
